Not so Quite Night A Fair

St Ives High School

On Saturday 19th November 2011 Oz Sports Solutions and Ole Academy of Football helped to support the St Ives High School Annual Fair “Not so Quite Night A Fair”. On a hot, steamy spring afternoon with temperatures reaching 32C the Oz Sports Solutions and Ole Academy of Football staff captivated sports fans from the St Ives area.

Oz Sports solutions delivered an event called “Are you tough enuff?” This was a Circuit Training event where participants were timed to complete 25 Skips, Running over the hurdles, Getting through the ladders and 50 boxing punches into pads. All times were recorded onto a leader board with the winner and runners up receiving a free training session for two with Oz Sports Solutions. This event drew in the crowd with parents, teenagers and children participating against each other to be the best.

Such competition even extended to the Ole Academy of Football event called “Only the Fastest Survive – Become the Master”. Football lovers from around the globe adore Cristiano Ronaldo and through his Nike Football training test that he did, participants had the chance to measure up against him. This was again a timed event using dribbling, thinking and shooting skills. Winners and runners up would also receive a free training session for two, therefore hotting up the competition further.
Often brothers, sisters, friends and parents could not be split, thus only a faceoff could determine who the true master was. This challenge consisted of dribbling around cones and shooting into a goal. The player that completed this first would be the winner.

Oz Sports Solutions and Ole Academy Director Jas Virdee said “that the opportunity to be involved in this event was an honour. It is part of our philosophy to help our local communities and we do this by providing sports coaching programs”, Jas continued. “I would like to thank St Ives High School P&C for inviting us to their event as this is an intricate part of our vision”

Oz Sports Solutions and Ole Academy of Football will look to support the event again in 2012.
